My name is Sonja Wilson Watterson. My madden name was Egelja. I was born in Yugoslavia and immigrated to Australia with my parents and my brother Sin. I was four and a half, with my eyes wide open.
My first school experience was at Dee Why Infants. Then I went to Manly Vale public school. Ending up at Manly Girls high school, in the late 70’s. We were the last year to go through before the school went co-ed. It’s called Freshwater High now.
I got married early, at just 16. I had my first child at 18. I have three adult children. My role as a mother and wife is the most important job in the world. It is my priority.
I’ve been writing songs and poems most of my adult life. But I never got a break. I didn’t give up on my dreams. I just expanded them into something massive. I received enlightenment and I want to tell the world. Which I’ve tried to do with my poetry and songs and also my book titled, The Meaning of Life, Life has Meaning.
I’ve been trained by God and now I am also a spiritual guide. As well as a mother and a writer. I decided to build my own platform, as I have a lot to say. By releasing all my work, 40 years’ worth at once. I want to go off with a bang. I hope that I can change the world with the power of words. I’m going to give it my best shot, anyway.
