C. Curtis Holmes, Ph.D. has recently retired after 50 years as a licensed psychologist. He has long been interested in factors affecting individuals’ beliefs and decision-making. Courtney Lamb is a licensed social worker treating victim and family members at the same child advocacy center (CAC), which sponsors two multidisciplinary teams (MDTs). They have gathered much research and experience suggesting how to reduce implicit bias in the MDT, including implicit bias of mental health professionals as well as possible implicit bias among other MDT professionals.
