This is a biography of Colonel Nicoll F. “Nick” Galbraith, U.S. Army, GSC, describing his three-and-a-half years as a prisoner of the Japanese, from the surrender of Corregidor in May, 1942, until August, 1945, when he and his fellow prisoners were rescued/released from Camp Hoten, in Mukden, Manchuria, at the hands of a six-man OSS team and Russia’s Red Army, which had just entered the Asian war.
